. The approximately 280 plants included “two trays of young cannabis plants in a cupboard under the stairs,” the police report.Article contentthroughout the U.K. Supplying or producing the plant carries a maximum of 14 years in prison, an unlimited fine or both.
The investigation is continuing, but the property has been made safe by the police service’s cannabis dismantling team . “This was a significant hoard of cannabis seized by our officers, which will make the local community a safer place, both from the risk of flooding and fire, and from the serious and organized criminals that set the farms up and exploit vulnerable people,” CDT leader Matt Brown says in the statement.
