A woman is dead and another was injured after two teenage boys targeted the wrong home in a drive-by Tuesday morning in far west Bexar County, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
A woman is dead and another was injured after two teenage boys mistakingly targeted her home in a drive-by Tuesday morning in far west Bexar County, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
According to Salazar, the teens were intending to commit a drive-by shooting but got the wrong house, killing a 25-year-old woman who was working on her computer when upwards of 100 rounds of various calibers were fired into the home. Salazar described the home as looking like Swiss cheese.An Airbnb guest at the home was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital for treatment.
One deputy stayed behind at the home, where the two women were found, while another deputy gave chase to the vehicle. With the help of the San Antonio Police Department's Eagle helicopter, BCSO was able to stop the car near Texas 151 and Acme Road and take the teens into custody.
