Youth suspects are 16 and 17; the younger of the two is charged with first-degree murder
Two teenagers sought by Greater Sudbury Police in relation to a double stabbing on June 14 turned themselves in at police headquarters downtown.
The 16-year-old is charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The 17-year-old is charged with two counts of assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. When officers arrived at the scene, they reported finding two young people who had sustained serious, life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to Health Sciences North by Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services.
