Police say the victim of a robbery in downtown Oshawa managed to flag down nearby officers, who arrested two teen boys.
The victim was robbed by the pair while waiting at a bus stop near King Street West and Centre Street on Saturday.The victim managed to flag down officers in the area and the boys were quickly caught. A 17-year-old boy from Oshawa is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, assault with a weapon, theft under $5,000, fail to comply with undertaking and fail to comply with Youth Criminal Justice Act sentence.
A 17-year-old boy from Toronto is charged with theft under $5,000, possess property obtained by crime under $5,000, disguise with intent, assault with a weapon and two counts of fail to comply with YCJA sentence.
