BREAKING: Two suspects charged with first-degree murder in shooting death of OPP officer
The two accused, Randall McKenzie and Brandi Crystal Lyn Stewart-Sperry, made their first court appearance on Wednesday afternoon.The mayor of Haldimand County says the community is grieving.
Pierzchala was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead a short time later. The suspects were subsequently taken into custody a short time later and the alert was cancelled. It is unclear where the suspects were arrested.Police are also expected to announce charges today.
