Two St. John’s Men Facing Historic Sexual Violence Charges Involving Youth
Two St. John’s men have been charged in connection with an investigation into allegations of sexual assault against minors dating back a number of years.Eighty-year-old Bruce Escott of St. John’s is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual interference, while 62-year-old Tony Humby of St. John’s is facing two counts each of sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and indecent exposure.
The Constabulary says the investigation continues, and officers believe there is further information related to the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
