Two men listed as players on Saint Francis University’s Red Flash football team were charged this week in connection with a 2021 sexual assault that occurred off campus, according to news reports.
20, of Wharton, New Jersey, are both accused of multiple felonies in the Feb. 4, 2021 assault, according to online court dockets.
Although officials would not confirm to WJAC that the men were a part of the school’s team, Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer told the station that the university is “fully cooperating” with the investigation.
