Two illegal stores in Hamilton have closed and two individuals charged after dried Psilocybin with a street value of $97,100 was seized.
Hamilton Police shut down two illegal psilocybin stores on Friday that were the subject of previous police warrants, charged two individuals and seized a total of 9.71 kilograms of dried psilocybin with a street value of $97,100.The Mushroom Cabinet and Shroomyz have been closed and with cooperation from the landlords, the locks have been changed and signage installed indicating any entry could result in break and enter or other applicable charges.
Meanwhile, a third store, Shroom Godz, opened Thursday directly across the street from the Mushroom Cabinet but after the owner was informed about the recent closures and charges, they made a decision to cease operations.
