An investigation has been launched
Two men in a car were stabbed by an armed gang in Salford last night, sparking a huge police presence. Officers were called to the scene on Bury New Road at around 8.15pm on Friday . They were initially called to a 'report of a concern for the welfare of a man'.
A cordon was put in place on Bury New Road and nearby New Hall Road as an investigation was launched last night. An Audi car with smashed windows was pictured behind the police tape. Crime scene investigators placed evidence markers on the street as officers guarded the ends of the cordon. Bury New Road was closed for several hours into the early hours of the morning.
