Fewer than five hours into 2020, police in Missouri were involved in a ‘goatnapping’
A man, identified by police as Brandon Wade Kirby, 40, stole a pickup truck containing a sleeping passenger and a goat while it was parked in front of an adult video store in Missouri in New Years Day.
During the 209 km journey, the report said, Kirby took methamphetamine, pistol-whipped the victim and constantly threatened him. He eventually released the abducted passenger and the kidnapped goat in rural Creek County, where the victim proceeded to call 911. However, the Oklahoma Highway patrol performed a tactical vehicle intervention, pushing the truck into a ditch and ending the chase at highway 412, Newson6 reported. According to investigators, when the truck stopped, Kirby jumped out and ran, dropping the mask and the gun.
