Two hikers were found dead Thursday night by Crowsnest Pass RCMP after being reported missing near Coleman, Alberta, the day before.

RCMP were advised around 10 p.m. Wednesday night that two men hiking North York Creek Plane Crash Trail — a well-known trail outside Coleman, Alta. — were overdue. Ground and air searches were initiated by RCMP with the assistance of Search and Rescue.At 7 p.m. the next day, SAR found both hikers — two Lethbridge residents aged 34 and 35 — dead at the bottom of a ridge at Mount Coulthard. Long Line Helicopter from Fernie, B.C. attended and recovered their bodies, RCMP said.
