Two consortiums have qualified to compete for Calgary's $5.5B Green Line contract yyc GreenLine yyctransit
The city announced Friday that Bow Transit Connectors, led by Barnard Constructors of Canada, and City Link Partners, led by Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc., have each qualified to bid on Phase 1 of the Green Line.
He said Barnard Constructors are known worldwide for their tunnelling expertise, while Aecon has a lot of experience on transit projects in particular. In a release Mayor Jyoti Gondek said Friday’s announcement was a very strong step for the Green Line, and that it speaks to the work done by the city to collaborate with industry to drive interest and investment.
