Two arrested in fatal shootings of teens outside Halloween party in National City [Breaking]
Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in the killings of two teens shot outside a Halloween party in National City last year, police announced Wednesday.shooting deaths
of Gillian Aguilera, 16, and Edwin Barrera, 18. The Police Department is expected to share further information during a news conference Thursday morning. The teens were shot on East 17th Street near Palm Avenue around 11:35 p.m. on Oct. 28. They had been standing with other teens outside a Halloween party, police said.During a news conference earlier this month, police officials and family members of the teens“My life has been pretty much destroyed,” Gillian’s mother, Diana Del Valle, said. “Even though things are never going to be the same, I am trying to stay strong and be the voice for my daughter, Gillian. We are looking for justice.
Police officials said they believed there were witnesses who had not stepped forward with information. National City police Chief Jose Tellez said solving the case was a top priority for his department.
