In college, I discovered K-pop so I was into BIGBANG, 2PM, and Shinee. We specifically designed them to be a nod to the K-pop boy bands of now [she hasbeing inspired by BTS] and of before. Boy bands are such an important part of a lot of adolescent girls’ lives; they’re their gateway into the opposite sex and it's something that a lot of teens go through but they're often ridiculed for in media.
