Türkiye in talks with both sides in Sudan for a truce, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu says
Fighting raged for the 5th day between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces in Khartoum and its surrounding areas, leaving at least 270 dead and 2,600 others injured, according to the Health Ministry.
A disagreement between the two military rivals regarding military and security reform, which envisages the full participation of the RSF in the army, has turned into a hot conflict in the last few months.
