In the aftermath of a powerful earthquake that killed many people in parts of Turkey, a Turkish couple in the Phoenix area is trying to do whatever they can to help their family, as well as others, back home.
Turkish people in the Phoenix area are trying to do all they can to support their loved ones back home, in the aftermath of a powerful earthquake that left over 20,000 people dead in the region.
San and his wife, Selda, are heartbroken over the news of what has happened in their hometown in Turkey. Edip said his sister has lost everything, but is currently staying with family. She witnessed her friends and neighbors die next to her, as their building went down. "I wish I can be there," said Selda. "Maybe I can save just one person there, it will help make me happy. It's just so hard."
