The Turcotte family in Stittsville decorates their home in a festive movie-themed style each year in the hopes of raising money for charity. This year, the family has drawn inspiration from three different films: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation , The Grinch , and Die Hard . They have installed 7,500 C9 incandescent bulbs and added a replica of National Lampoon's Chicago police car and a Die Hard limo to their display.
Since starting this tradition, the family has raised $175,000 for various charities
