Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard demanded the U.S. government declassify any documents tying the Saudi government to the 9/11 terrorist hijackers and called for an end to all Saudi aid Tuesday in New York.

"Eighteen years ago our nation was attacked by al-Qaida, radical Islamic terrorists, this is something that is commonly known but the reality is we still don't fully know whether they were aided by the Saudi government, enabling them to successfully carry out this attack on our nation," Gabbard said Tuesday at the press conference and event entitled"Stories of Strength and Resilience.

Gabbard said it is"absolutely unacceptable" that the government's investigation into Saudi ties has been kept classified from victims' families and the American people as a whole. "We should not be selling them our weapons, we should not be aiding or providing them with any kind of support, so long as they continue" aiding terrorist groups such as al-Qaida, Gabbard continued.
