The bakery at 7851 E. Broadway announced on its website earlier this month that it will close at the end of business on Sunday, Aug. 28. “We would like to say ‘thank you’ to all of our wonderful customers and the community for allowing us to share our passion with all of you for the last four decades,” the announcement said. “It has been our pleasure and we will miss serving you.”Autumn Hand laughs along with regular customers as she takes their orders at Sullivan’s Eatery & Creamery, 6444 N. Oracle Road.at 6444 N. Oracle Road will close for good.

Alex Mustaffa, who has owned the restaurant since 2017, said he will close no later than June 15, two weeks before his lease expires. But the closing could come sooner, he said, if he runs out of supplies or doesn’t have enough employees to keep the doors open.
