The outlet alleged that Foxx was a “cheater” who had rekindled things with his ex, Kristin Grannis, devastating Holmes. The outlet even called her a “wannabe wife” who was “desperate to tie Jamie down.” It was never clarified how the two somehow went from planning a wedding to breaking up at the altar.
The tabloid even tried to say that Foxx had been interacting with Grannis behind Holmes’ back. That allegation didn’t make sense considering that the actor and his ex had been seen together multiple times in public while co-parenting their young daughter. There was no sneaking around or anything romantic going on between the two.
Finally, MediaTakeOut also published a fake story about Foxx’s relationship with Grannis impacting his romance with Holmes. The blog falsely reported thatThe site even went as far as to call the two “lovers,” citing a photo of Foxx and Grannis standing close to one another while watching over their daughter during a Fourth of July celebration.pointed out that the photos meant nothing, because Foxx and Grannis have often been photographed together before.
