Glen Youngkin, lashing out for a second straight day at a potential rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
The Virginia governor is the latest of Trump’s former allies who he has seemingly turned on in the past few days — following disappointing results for many Trump-backed candidates in Tuesday’s midterm elections. Trump on Thursday— another governor elected with the aid of a Trump endorsement — in a rambling statement, taking credit for DeSantis’ success and belittling him as “average.”
