"I think I win the election easier. But, you know, I'm not sure that I like having it," Trump told Chuck Todd on NBC's "Meet the Press" in an interview set to be released Sunday, when asked by the host if he thinks impeachment would be politically beneficial.Trump also said that he believes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has cautioned against impeachment because she also "feels that I will win much easier.

Pelosi has so far refused to consider impeaching the president without Republican support despite a growing tide of Democrats publicly calling for proceedings to begin against Trump. The president went on to repeat his assertion that the FBI's counterintelligence investigation into his 2016 campaign was illegal.
