Dartmouth is the only Ivy League school that did not receive a letter.

The Department of Education warned 60 universities and colleges they could lose federal funding if they don’t do more to protect Jewish students. The obligations include “uninterrupted access to campus facilities and educational opportunities.

“The Department is deeply disappointed that Jewish students studying on elite U.S. campuses continue to fear for their safety amid the relentless antisemitic eruptions that have severely disrupted campus life for more than a year. University leaders must do better,”. “U.S. colleges and universities benefit from enormous public investments funded by U.S. taxpayers. That support is a privilege and it is contingent on scrupulous adherence to federal antidiscrimination laws.

The list includes all Ivy League schools except Dartmouth: Brown, Cornell, Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, U. Penn, and Yale.If you are a regular reader of Legal Insurrection, then you know all about the anti-Israel and pro-Hamas mobs at the elite schools on the list.Columbia has been ground zero since last spring, even though protests started after Hamas invaded Israel and kidnapped and slaughtered thousands on October 7, 2023.
