President Trump said he sees Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders as the top contenders for the Democratic nomination: 'It's going to be one of those three I think.'
President Trump took the political high road ahead of the Democratic presidential debate.
Mr. Trump said of the contenders meeting tonight in Houston: “I respect all of them,” adding that it “takes a lot of courage” to run for office. He added: “See that? I’m getting to be much better as a politician.” Mr. Trump, who spoke to reporters as he left the White House on his way to give a speech in Baltimore, said he’d have to have the debate taped and would watch it “as a re-run.”
He also offered some of his own political punditry, saying he saw Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders as the top contenders.On Mr. Biden, he added: “I would imagine Biden would be able to make it, if he doesn’t make any major mistakes.”
