Former President Donald Trump ardently defended controversial Arizona GOP gubernatorial hopeful and election denier KariLake at a campaign rally on Friday evening ahead of the state's primaries.
The former commander-in-chief spoke to an arena of supporters at a"Save America" rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona, to stump for a host of MAGA-allied Republicans, including Lake, a former local TV anchor, and Blake Masters, the venture capitalist and former Thiel Capital executive hoping to win the GOP Senate primary to take on Sen. Mark Kelly in November.
Talking about Lake's ardent support for his election fraud claims, Trump praised the GOP gubernatorial hopeful as someone who"won't allow elections to be rigged and stolen." Those claims have been roundly rejected by the courts and election officials. Lake argued that Trump's Make America Great Again movement really took off when the Left"went after" mothers, going on to reference when parents who protested school boards were compared to domestic terrorists in a letter the National School Boards Association sent to the Biden administration.
"And we got all the moms, trust me. We've got the suburban moms out there. We've got the city moms and we got the rural moms and they are all with us. Each and every one of them because when momma goes MAGA it is game over, it's game over. It's game over for the cartels. It is game over for the swamp rats and it is game over for the RINOs and the radicals," she said.
