Donald Trump says the Democratic-led House, which is drafting a resolution to condemn his tweets, should instead be rebuking the four Democratic women of color he appeared to be targeting

President Donald Trump argued Tuesday that the House of Representatives should move to rebuke a quartet of progressive congresswomen that he has targeted with racist rhetoric, carrying his tirade against the four lawmakers into a third day.

The House is expected to vote Tuesday on a resolution condemning the president's attacks against Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , Ilhan Omar , Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib . Trump on Sunday wrote that the congresswomen should "go back” to where they came from, even though three of the four — Ocasio-Cortez, Pressley and Tlaib — were born in the U.S. and Omar, a refugee from Somalia, has been a citizen since she was 17.

. “Why isn’t the House voting to rebuke the filthy and hate laced things they have said? Because they are the Radical Left, and the Democrats are afraid to take them on. Sad!” poster="http://v.politico.com/images/1155968404/201907/1105/1155968404_6059437514001_6059438002001-vs.jpg?pubId=1155968404"
