White House did not respond to ABC News' request for comment and the Trump campaign declined to comment. The president's former longtime fixer and personal attorney Michael Cohen is also serving three years in prison, after pleading guilty to making false statements to Congress in a case brought by Mueller's team as well as a separate campaign finance and and tax crime case brought by federal prosecutors in Manhattan.
