The abuse was aimed at anyone associated with the Canadian Peoples Assembly movement, the group sponsoring the protest. He says it’s a broad-based group with thousands of people of different races, religions and occupations. They include doctors, lawyers, and professors and it has connected with 400 groups across the country, he said.They point to Trudeau’s use of the emergency act as well as mask and vaccine mandates. More recently, opponents have added the expansion of gun bans to include firearms used for hunting to the list of grievances.
