NDP MP Romeo Saganash said the comment shows the Prime Minister really doesn’t care about Indigenous rights and people. New polling released this week shows the ongoing controversy appears to have significantly eroded public support for Mr. Trudeau and his Liberal Party. Another survey released this week by Ipsos for Global News found Mr. Scheer’s Conservatives have a 10 point lead over the Liberals, with 40 per cent for the Conservatives and 30 per cent for the Liberals. The Ipsos survey found 21-per-cent support for the NDP.
