Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responds to a question from the media during a daily news conference outside Rideau Cottage on May 22, 2020.
Federal contact-tracers are helping public health authorities in Ontario and Trudeau said they’re ready to make thousands more calls a day when any province asks. “These federal resources are available to assist provinces and territories with any surges, or backlogs or challenges they have in contact-tracing.”
“We see ourselves as building capacity for all the provinces and territories to test to their fullest need,” she told the House of Commons committee on government operations.
