Three Tesla Roadsters are for sale after someone shipped them to China, forgot about them, and now has a decade of storage fees to pay off.
The trio of Roadsters is, of course, for sale, via the Gruber Motor Company, which bills itself as a go-between for buyers and sellers of Teslas, as well as a technical resource for owners and provider of parts and service. In its listing for the cars, which are being auctioned, it seems, as a set, Gruber says the cars were abandoned by their original buyer shortly after they arrived at port in China.
All three are left-hand-drive, U.S.-spec models, which should make their registration here in America easier. Two are Sport variants, one Radiant Red, the other Very Orange; the third is a Very Orange base version. All are listed as having zero miles, though the listing couches that by saying it isn't clear whether any of the cars have delivery miles or testing miles; in other words, these are assumed to be brand-new, but perhaps not quite"zero-mile" cars.
