Kerri Wynne MacLeod, a radio personality and entertainer, died on Feb. 26 at the age of 57.CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Tributes flowed in on Feb. 27 following the death of Charlottetown radio personality Kerri Wynne MacLeod.since 2006, died Feb. 26 at the age of 57, following a brief illness.

“I am just devastated," former Ocean 100 voice Kirk MacKinnon told SaltWire Network in a telephone interview on Feb. 27. “She had time for everybody. She is simply irreplaceable. She would always put others ahead of her. She went out of her way to make sure people were OK when she wasn’t."“She made you feel instantly at ease, instantly acknowledged and special," MacKinnon said, his voice cracking. “She had such a gift of showing her heart and wrapping it around you.

“She knew everybody in Prince Edward Island, and everyone loved her," said Chapman, adding that when MacLeod joined Ocean 100 full-time she was still emceeing three events a week despite having to be on the air the next morning at 6 a.m.Please join us by listening in tomorrow at 7am
