Officials of Utah Transit Authority initially reported the impact to TRAX lines due to an undisclosed medical emergency shortly before 12:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, alerting travelers that the incident had prompted 20 to 25 minute delays on the northbound Blue Line from the Midvale Center Station to the Ballpark Station at all points in between.
Authorities provided an update at 1:15 p.m., adding that both directions of the Blue Line from the Historic Sandy Station to the Draper Town Center Station and the Salt Lake Central Station were expecting 15 to 20 minute delays at all points in between due to the medical emergency. Just after 1:20 p.m., officials announced the placement of the bus bridge as a result of the medical emergency indecent, adding that 10 to 15 minutes delays could continue to be expected form the Midvale Center Station to the Salt Lake Central Station and southbound from the Historic Sandy Station to the Draper Town Center Station.
By 1:45 p.m., all trains had reportedly resumed their regular schedules, though some residual delays could remains of less than 10 minutes.
