New Transformers: Rise of the Beasts posters give audiences detailed looks at new and returning franchise characters. After a five-year hiatus, Transformers returns with its latest entry, introducing Beast Wars characters to the long-running movie series. Directed by Creed II's Steven Caple Jr.

What to Expect From Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to revitalize a franchise which has seen declining returns with its last two entries – Transformers: The Last Knight and Bumblebee. With a story from Obi-Wan Kenobi's Joby Harold, the upcoming film taps the popular Beast Wars storyline to give the franchise the boost it needs.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to properly introduce the long-awaited massive villain Unicron, portrayed by Fear the Walking Dead's Colman Domingo. Able to transform into a giant planet, the ancient enemy was included in Transformers: The Last Knight with the six horns of Unicron appearing from within the Earth. As a prequel, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will likely address the lore surrounding Unicron and Earth's origins.
