Preview art by Daniel Warren Johnson for Skybound Entertainment's Transformers #2 features the Energon Universe debut of Decepticon leader Megatron.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Already, there have been many Transformers introduced in the Energon Universe so far, but one character has been conspicuously absent. Megatron has yet to appear in the new continuity, with Starscream taking his place as leader of the Decepticons. However, according to preview art released for Transformers #2, Megatron will be making his EU debut sooner, rather than later.
When Prime is approached by his new human friend Spike Witwicky, there’s a flashback to the War on Cybertron, and fans are treated to their first glimpse of Megatron.
