Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Andrew Furey is promising to add 70 students to the existing Trail of the Caribou Pilgrimage Student Ambassador Program. The program is a partnership between the province and the Royal Canadian Legion designed to educate students about the sacrifices made by soldiers overseas. Students travel to five caribou monuments in Northern France and Belgium where they will attend a July 1 ceremony at the Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial.
