International Trade, Export Promotion, and Economic Development Minister Mary Ng has hired a new director of policy for her office, with Elise Wagner having marked her final day in the role during the last week of June. Photograph courtesy of X Hill Climbers understands Wagner is no longer working on the Hill after almost six years serving in various roles, starting in the fall of 2018 as a special assistant for Canada-U.S.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and general management from York University. In Ng’s office, Boroun now oversees policy advisers Chelios Vuong and Samir Kassam, along with special assistant for policy Emma Drake, and special assistant for policy and Quebec regional affairs Beata Nawacki. Also new to Ng’s office is Brandon Groth, a new face on the Hill who’s been hired as the minister’s executive assistant.
