Here are other highlights from this week’s updated COVID-19 data from the Alaska Department of Health: • The state health department reported no additional COVID-19 deaths among residents. There have been 1,329 COVID-19 deaths reported among Alaska residents since the beginning of the pandemic. • In Alaska, 1,111 new cases were reported over a seven-day period, a decrease from 1,494 cases reported last week. That data doesn’t include at-home tests, which don’t get reported.a CDC tracker• Statewide, 68.1% of Alaskans six months and older had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 28.3% had received at least one booster shot.
