The Town of Irondequoit showed off some new wheels on Tuesday as it announced two new vehicles funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.

Irondequoit N.Y. — The Town of Irondequoit showed off some new wheels on Tuesday as it unveiled two new vehicles. One of the vehicles is a senior bus to help transport seniors to and from the community center for various programs. "We are able to go to the houses to pick folks up and bring them over to the community center," said Shannon Grieve, the town's recreation director. "We will also be doing off-site activities and field trips. We're going apple picking tomorrow, so it really just allows us to have a greater reach with our residents in the town of Irondequoit. It's a really wonderful thing.
The town also showed off a new street sweeper for maintaining streets with paving, oil and stone work.
