The Austrian woman killed in a shark attack while snorkeling on holiday in Egypt has been pictured and identified.on Friday.She worked for the Austrian municipality of Kramsach as part of The Green Party for six years – from 1994 to 2004.just 650ft from the first attack.The shark bit off the woman’s arm and leg which turned the water red with blood Elisabeth had been visiting her Egyptian partner for a month when the tragic incident unfolded.
Kramsach local Green Party, which first identified Elisabeth, said: ‘We mourn the passing of our Elisabeth Sauer, who died in a tragic accident.It is believed Elisabeth was killed by a Mako shark, an endangered species in the Red Sea.
