From JordanErcit: Toronto Zoo hours, city services altered due to wildfire smoke

The zoo is reducing its operating hours on Thursday, but also encouraged people who bought tickets ahead of time to reschedule for another day. The city-owned facility will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., while limiting access to the outdoors for some animals and the amount of time staff and volunteers work outside.From our newsroom to your inbox at noon, the latest headlines, stories, opinion and photos from the Toronto Sun.
As a result, we are taking proactive steps to protect our animals, staff & volunteers by reducing our operating hours on Thurs June 8 to 9:30am-3pm
