Lake effect snow off Georgian Bay will mean snowfall accumulations of five centimetres in some areas, Environment Canada said in its advisory. Flurries, heavy at times, are affecting extreme western areas of York Region and Toronto along with Brampton, the federal weather agency said. "Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays," Environment Canada said.The temperature in Toronto was -4 C Thursday night, which means it felt like -12 with the wind chill.
