The Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival was packed Saturday afternoon.

The Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival was packed Saturday afternoon with people wearing traditional clothing, wading through the crowd to try their hand at some of the festival’s delights, or catch one of the shows. Although it was a time for celebration, the current political climate cast a shadow over the festivities. The war is still ongoing and the festival began just as Ukraine was recovering bodies from a mass burial site.
