The Rock were made to work against a scrappy Swarm team that is still looking for its first win after six games. Georgia had a chance to tie the game on the final possession while on the power play but was unable to get a good shot on Rock goaltender Nick Rose.Article content Tom Schreiber led the scoring parade with another hat trick. He now leads the NLL in goals with 27. Dan Craig also scored twice while Stephen Keogh, Challen Rogers, Mitch De Snoo and Latrell Harris scored once each. Rose finished the night with 37 saves.
Georgia got hat tricks from both Shayne Jackson and Andrew Kew. Lyle Thompson scored twice with both Adam Wiedemann and Seth Oakes scoring once each. The Swarm were also helped by a good goaltending performance from Craig Wende, who gave up just four goals in 30 shots in relief of starter Brett Dobson.
