They say on Monday, at 3:45 a.m., an off-duty officer was operating his personal vehicle in the Shuter Street and Parliament Street area.
They say the officer struck a parked vehicle on Shuter Street before continuing to drive southbound on Parliament Street.The driver eventually pulled his vehicle over and was arrested.Constable Michael Juma, 49, has been charged with:Impaired Operation of a ConveyanceConstable Juma, who is assigned to the Toronto Police Operations Centre – Duty Desk, has 14 years of service and is suspended with pay.
