Toronto police are assuring the Jewish community there are currently no credible threats against them in the city.
Police say following the weekend terror attack in Israel, they’ve increased patrols in Jewish communities, cultural centres, synagogues, mosques and other places of worship.The Toronto Police Service has heard directly from community leaders in our city that the war in the Middle East is generating fear and insecurity in Toronto.
The Service is advising residents that there are currently no credible threats to Jewish communities in our city. The Service is also working closely with federal and provincial partners and other law enforcement agencies to ensure coordination and information sharing.
