Toronto police have arrested and charged 30-year-old Shamar James in connection with a homicide on Saturdayaround 8:14 p.m. Police say a man was found injured on the street before being transported to hospital by paramedics. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital. According to police, the man’s injuries were from a stabbing and homicide took over the investigation. The victim’s name has not been released as investigators are still trying to notify the victim’s family, according to police.Investigators are asking witnesses, or anyone driving in the area at the time who has dash camera footage to contact police at 416-808-7400.
