Toronto police have arrested a suspect in connection with a violent home invasion at a condo in Liberty Village late last year.
at a condo in Liberty Village late last year.Liberty and Dufferin streets areaA victim was getting into their vehicle when two armed male suspects allegedly blocked the victim’s car with their own vehicle at an underground condo parking lot in the area.The suspects then allegedly went into the victim’s vehicle, pointed a gun at them, handcuffed them and placed a ski mask over their head, said police.
The victims were “forced into and secured in a bedroom within the unit,” police said in a news release Wednesday.During the home invasion, police said a third victim came to the unit and confronted the suspects.The suspects then allegedly fled the scene along with the items they took. Police on Monday held a news conference asking for the public’s help in a series of home invasions and robberies. One of the suspects wanted by the holdup squad was Boaz Frimpong, 28, of Toronto.
