A 20-year-old Toronto man who threatened to “shoot up” a school has been arrested by police at a home in Toronto, police say.
Police said the threats were uttered on June 4 on an online platform, along with a photo of a gun. The picture was then flagged by an AI to the platform’s security team ealier this month. Later, Toronto police said its cyber-crime unit took over the investigation after determining the threats were published from Toronto.
