In fact cases may already be creeping upwards. Earlier this month, Toronto’s seven-day rolling average of new cases hit a recent low of 15.9 but since then it has ticked steadily back up and now stands at 35. Toronto Pubic Health will also continue to have more than 700 staff working on COVID-19 contract tracing and case managements.
